On the Road against Food Insecurity
The social issues of food waste’s effects on climate change and food insecurity have reached an intersection, and both problems are solvable. Feeding It Forward works with a network of over 45 Napa County community-based organizations that provide services to our most vulnerable and hardest-hit populations. We are proud of our partnerships to help feed those in need while reducing food waste and the corresponding environmental impacts. Increasing and improving food access is our primary objective.
Monetary donations help cover the variable costs (fuel, supplies, containers, equipment, etc.) needed to recover, maintain food safety, and transport the fresh, perishable food safely and successfully to their final destinations; to the community-based organizations serving those in need throughout Napa County.
Thanks to everyone for making our community safer & healthier!
